On November 22, 1976, Lieutenant Colonel Gene Allen Miller retired honorably from the United States Marine Corps Reserves. It was from his dedication and love to his country and family that Colonel Miller developed a passion for mentoring young Americans. It was his desire to nurture pride in oneself and love of country. For this reason, the Young Marines Organization held a special place in his heart. In his memory we hope to continue his legacy by supporting the Young Marines. In lieu of flowers or gifts, his family asks that you consider contributing to this worthy organization.

I have never known anyone who had the work ethic of Gene Miller. He was always a gentleman and loved his wife and family beyond measure. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
"O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?" For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor 15:55-57
